A four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, electronics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, etc. is called a BE/BTech. After class 10 or 12, students pursue a three-year programme leading to an engineering diploma. Candidates with an engineering undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for the two-year MTech postgraduate programme.

The Admission Procedure
Only through entrance exams such as VITEE, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, WBJEE, etc. is admission to a B.Tech programme possible.
